First things first. Send me an e-mail, call me or text me and tell me a little bit about your business and what you are looking for. I will get back to you with a quote and a projected timeline. This is totally FREE and I am happy to answer all of your questions and concerns about your project. After the details of the project are finalized and agreed upon I take a deposit for the project (usually 50% down) to begin.

I feel it is a critical step to chat with my clients first. When I first meet with you, I have a lot of questions. These questions are designed to not only figure out your company style preferences, but also to get to the heart of what it is you need your website to communicate to your past, present and future clients.

I review all of the content gathered from our initial meeting. I do extensive research on current web design trends, target market and the competition. Once I have gathered all the necessary information, I begin planning for the architecture of the site. I analyze any unique needs, and we implement accepted best practices to ensure that the website design has a consistent and logical flow. This is a critical step. It is in the planning phase where the usability and the design goals of the website are mapped out. After this is completed and the direction is nailed down, I begin the design process.

I will create a unique design approach for the new website. The design will consist of layouts in desktop and mobile format. I choose the most significant pages to design and these will lay the foundation for all the other content, media, navigation and pages within the site. Since the web design process is a collaborative one, I welcome feedback from you as we hone in on the final design. Most websites go through an evolution during this process as we gather this feedback and use it to improve the overall design to meet our clients’ needs. I provide expert advice to my clients if we feel something you are asking for is not in the best interest of the project and your business. This includes 1 round of requested changes. I receive approval from you for the website design.

This is where everything comes together and the real magic starts to happen. I begin building the website on YOUR hosting account incorporating all content provided. The site will be based on the approved design layout(s) in PHASE 3. At this moment I implement all the functionalities that we have planned from PHASE 1, the discovery phase. The site will be coded so that the layout will work with all current desktop, laptop, tablet, android and Apple iPhone sizes and browsers. Once the development is up to my standards, I then put the website through a series of tests in all of the major current web browsers to ensure that it will work for you. I send the development link to you for review.

If you have any changes you would like done to the site, now is the time. I will re-test the site and fine tune anything where adjustment is needed. I feel it important to do a 30 minute – 1 hour training session with you over the phone on how to use the site. I walk you through step by step on how to use your new site and maintain it on your own. Once the site is approved, it is made live to the world!
